On Friday the 1st of February Mowbray class had an exciting Australian Wow day. It started with our Exotic visitors. We saw and interacted with many different animals including a Bumese python called Hufflepuff, a cheeky coatimundi called Wilbur (who ran over our legs!), two mischievous merkats called Bam Bam and Maddie, and a Kookaburra named Kaspa who laughed very loudly at us. 

We then continued the the day by seeing Ant, Dec and Holly for our own I'm a Year 2 get me out of here! We took part in bush tucker trials to earn stars. We had a trial to test our teamwork, an eating trial (where we tried many interesting foods including vegemite!) and a quiz to test our knowledge. What an amazing day we had and look forward to learning more about the animals through our topic work. Miss Pettit and Mrs Kirby were very proud of how the class conducted themselves.
