2019-2020 Autumn Term
This half term we have been getting to know the children and focusing on them settling into Hudson Class. The children enjoyed bringing in their home learning and sharing with the rest of the class. We have been talking about ourselves and our families. We painted self portraits and used different resources to make a representation of their face.
We have enjoyed starting our Storytime Phonics scheme and have some interactive phonic sessions in and around school.
The children have absolutely loved Forest Schools this half term. They enjoy making dens, looking for bugs, making mud pies and climbing trees.
Our Autumn theme family cafe was a real success, thanks to everyone who came along and joined in the fun. We made conker rolling paintings, stained glass leaves, playdough models and autumn leaf pictures.
A real highlight for the children has been the addition of our two class Guinea Pigs, Spider and Belle. They enjoy looking after them and feeding them lots of lovely healthy foods. A visit to the shop was needed to buy a cabbage for them and biscuits for themselves!
