2020-2021 Autumn - Fire Fire!
This term we will be learning all about the Great Fire of London in 1666 and how this had an impact on the rebuilding of London. We will also be looking at Samuel Pepys and Charles I who were alive during the fire. We will be sequencing the events that happened during the fire and developing our understanding chronology.
We will be continuing to use Talk for Writing this year which will help us to write some amazing stories that are set during the Fire. We will be expanding our vocabulary and using these to write setting descriptions, poetry and diaries about the fire.
We will also be exploring colour mixing and creating warm colours to create a silhouette skyline of the Fire.
