2020-2021 Spring: Mamma Mia! & Roaming Romans
During the Spring term, our topic will be split into two parts.
Spring 1-Mamma Mia
The first half term will be geography focused. We will be looking at locating Italy and its surrounding countries as well as the difference between human and physical features. We will be identifying those features and giving examples that are found in Italy. We will be exploring volcanoes; how they are formed, where they are in the world (The Ring of Fire) and the key features.
Spring 2- Roaming Romans
The second half term will be history focused. We will be learning why Romans invaded and where . We will be looking at the differences between Roman and Celtic warriors and the different weapons they used. We will be looking at Julius Caesar and Boudicca and their influence in Roman times. We will also be exploring Hadrian's wall.
