Dear parents and carers,
On behalf of myself, the staff, and governors, welcome to our school website; I hope it gives you an insight into our school.
Wisbech St Mary Church of England Academy is a happy, caring setting where we pride ourselves on getting to know every child and family individually. We work hard to nurture the unique talents and academic potential of all of our children, by striving to achieve high standards in all areas of the curriculum. We also support our pupils in developing confidence, patience, tolerance, resilience, and perseverance as they develop into happy and successful citizens of the future.
We are a school with strong community links and take great pride in the work we have accomplished alongside our long-standing PTFA and our community leaders on the Parish Council.
At Wisbech St Mary C of E Academy, we believe, and work hard to ensure, that children thrive in a purposeful and meaningful environment in which they are happy, challenged and secure. We understand that these school years will help set the foundations and building blocks for a positive, life-long journey of learning. We are committed to providing the best educational experiences through our robust knowledge-rich curriculum. Our school is a nurturing environment with excellent adult role models who will encourage and motivate your child to reach their full potential.
We are committed to ensuring the best teaching and learning experiences across the curriculum. At Wisbech St Mary C of E Academy, children are provided with opportunities to learn through an engaging, exciting, empowering and integrated curriculum that allows them to explore and discover our world, preparing them for the future! Our curriculum is designed to be: knowledge-rich, valued and specified, and taught to be remembered. We ask all parents to support their child’s learning and establish positive relationships with school, so that each child can reach their full potential.
I sincerely hope that if your child joins us at Wisbech St Mary C of E Academy, or as your child moves through their primary education with us, that this will be the beginning of a long and happy relationship with our school.
Miss Jaynie Lynch
